Account information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a secure hash).

Uploaded images: Images you upload are processed to generate patterns and are not stored permanently after processing.

Payment information: We do not store your payment card details. Paid purchases are processed by Paddle as merchant of record. Paddle’s processing of your data is described in the Paddle Privacy Notice.

Usage data: We collect information about how you use the Service, including pattern generation history and download records.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: (a) provide and improve the Service; (b) process payments; (c) send account-related emails such as welcome messages and password resets; (d) track credit balances and download history; (e) respond to support requests.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We share data only with: (a) Paddle, for payment processing; (b) Google, if you use Google sign-in; (c) Service providers who assist in operating the platform, bound by confidentiality agreements.

4. Data Retention

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Generated pattern data is retained for 30 days to allow re-downloads. Uploaded images are deleted after pattern generation is complete.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, delete your account and associated data, and export your data. Contact us at privacy@patterncrafts.com to exercise these rights.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. However, no system is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a prominent notice on the website.
